Passion makes the difference
Passion is often the difference between a successful community and one that dies. Passion from the community manager. Passion from the community members.
Too often, that passion gets hidden at the times when the community manager most needs to show it: During the regular interactions with the members of the community. During those daily to do list items that we are all tempted to buzz through...

Found this via @DougWelch. Love Security Essentials. Just wish I knew how to upgrade to V2. When I try, it tells me I am on the latest version. Only problem? I know I am running V1.
Still, if you aren’t using Security Essentials, check this version out. It’s free. It’s good. It works. What more do you want?

Do you stand up for what you believe in? Rosa Parks is one of my heroes because she stuck with what she believed was right. She stood up for what was right by refusing to move after she sat down on the buss 55 years ago.
It just so happens that 12-1-2010 is also Pay It Forward day. Put the two together and you have an opportunity to make a difference for yourself, your community, and your...

Returning the stock? Wow - didn't see that coming.
Hurd and HP have settled the lawsuit HP filed after he took the job at Oracle. He gave back the $30M in stock that was part of his severance. Didn’t see that coming, but like it. Shows maybe he is growing a conscious.
On the other hand, maybe he just felt that getting out of press for the bad stuff and focusing on the future was the best for everyone.Amplify’d from www.msnbc.msn.com

I don’t understand it… How is it that the Chase website has been down for most of the last 36 hours, and yet none of the major tech websites have had anything to say about it? Wouldn’t you think someone would have talked about the impact, the tech, the cause, something? http://bit.ly/9vq25o
